Our Event Coordinator, Jamie Bauer, is available Monday-Saturday to provide a tour of the facility and to answer any questions about your Atrium Events function.

The Atrium Events space is one of Chicago's loveliest and most unique private rental environments. Housed within Architectural Artifacts' 80,000-square-foot showroom, Atrium Events' dramatic space affords visitors a large, comfortable (and handicap-accessible) arena in which to enjoy themselves. Guests will dine under antique lighting fixtures, amidst a display of rare fragments from historically important Chicago buildings. Surrounding this remarkable, four-story, light-filled event space are many spacious galleries filled with antique architectural treasures from around the globe.

Your rental of the Atrium Events space includes use of the 10,000-square-foot Atrium main-level, plus our large, airy entry hall and our spacious outdoor courtyard. The courtyard is home to grand architectural elements such as massive stone columns, statuary, gazebos and other large-scale works of art.

The Atrium can accommodate up to 300 seated dinner guests while still allowing for a dance-floor area (including band/DJ space), and the space is easily divisible to meet your particular needs. Wedding ceremonies and receptions may be held in the Atrium space as well as in the courtyard. Attendees will also have access to Architectural Artifacts' galleries and may freely browse our vast inventory of antique delights.

Our upcoming one-of-a-kind Museum of Historic Chicago Architecture will also make its home on the lower level of the Atrium Events space. This Museum will present an unparalleled private collection of decorative building fragments, ironwork, stained-glass windows, drawings, etc. from important architects such as Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright. Assembled by Architectural Artifacts' owner, Stuart Grannen, over the course of his singular career in architectural salvage, the collection provides a unique window onto Chicago's rich architectural legacy. Stuart's passion for architectural history drives his efforts to save these invaluable treasures from the wrecking ball.

The Atrium Events space is available for rental between 5:30 p.m. and midnight, 7 days-a-week. A list of our preferred caterers and other recommended services that you may need (such as music, lighting and flowers) can be found at
